RPAS Operator Certificate

RPAS OPERATOR CERTIFICATE INFORMATION

OVERVIEW

The RPAS Operator Certificate is required for commercial operations of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems. This certificate ensures that operators meet the necessary safety and operational standards set by CAAP.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid business registration or incorporation documents
  • Designated accountable manager and safety manager
  • Operations manual approved by CAAP
  • Insurance coverage as required by regulations
  • Qualified remote pilots with valid controller certificates
  • Maintenance program for RPAS fleet

APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Submit completed application form with required documents
  2. Pay applicable fees
  3. Undergo document review and assessment
  4. Complete on-site inspection if required
  5. Receive certificate upon approval

VALIDITY AND RENEWAL

The RPAS Operator Certificate is valid for a specified period and must be renewed before expiration. Operators must maintain compliance with all regulations and may be subject to periodic audits.
